  I used to love sainburys and this store. However the fruit is always sour, EG the strawberrys are like crunchy sour crab apples. The bargains are hidden ripoffs. I have always be on a tight budget and they used to have enough sainburys basics but when the banks collapsed that year they did a campaign to sell sainsburys basics to help customers but also put the price up of the basics range. What a complete con. Also I bought some pasta which when cooked turned into a mushy mess. This is OK so long as I could get a refund but the lady did not want to refund me! Had to get the manager in to help the situation . made me feel like a criminal! Disappointed.

  Staff are always very keen to help, no issue with returns or refunds. Staff on the tills are very polite, helpful in helping you to pack your items, deal with the the card machine etc with no pressure to use the self service. Self service machines are clear and staff are willing and available to help if you prefer. Wide range of products available despite it being a smaller store than average. Parking is well organised too with a reasonable two hour limit. I've never had any issues parking even when busy (because someone is monitering people leaving the store and leaving their cars to go off into town, and dealing with it).
